Also, UMCOR is famous for staying in an area much longer than most agencies, month and years afterward still helping victims with long-term recovery of their lives. Charitywatch has a list right now of the best organizations helping Haiti - out of 23 they rated, only 3 got an A+ rating and one of those is UMCOR.

Sorry to hear that you think of God as imaginary. As far as proof, the proof is all around you if you truely look for it.
The red cross does a fine job and gets more publicity than other relief agencies, a lot of which the red cross pays for with money from donations. UMCOR has theirs covered by the United Methodist Church so none of their advertising or administrative costs come from the funds donated.
PS God still believes in you.

UMCOR already had workers in Haiti, some of whom were injured in the quake. They were assisting in ongoing recovery efforts since the last hurricane. And, yes, after Hurricane Andrew and Kartina, UMCOR disaster workers were actually training volunteers for other agencies and were very well respected by relief agencies in the region.

10thousanddoors is a website created by The United Methodist Church. Haiti response information found there sends anyone wishing to donate money directly to UMCor.

@Supernova310 Are you opposed to people of faith helping earthquake victims in Haiti? Perhaps your friends and colleagues are more compassionate than misguided 'believers'. How much did you donate to the Red Cross or volunteer? How many athiest organizations are helping the relief effort?

Religion is profiting? Not here. I don't believe in god and I rated this video 5 stars because I believe in hope. This video is first and foremost about spreading the word and helping the relief aid. Please be mindful of something's true purpose before you heckle and make yourself look insensitive.
